10 Celebrities That Have Done Voices On Adventure Time

I’m a huge fan of Adventure Time. Not only does it look beautiful, it’s just so dang quirky in a completely organic way. As Robert Mclaughlin of Den of Geek wrote Adventure Time “is the first cartoon in a long time that is pure imagination” and I completely agree. Another thing that I love about the show is the completely amazing actors they get to voice characters. Here’s 10 of my favorites.

Neil Patrick Harris

Harris played the gender-swapped version Princess Bubblegum, Prince Gumball. I definitely prefer this kind of ‘suiting up’ to Barney Stinson’s power suit.

Ron Perelman

Is there a more perfect person to provide the voice of The Lich than Ron Perelman? The Lich is kind of like Hellboy if Hellboy never became a hero.

Paul Reubens

The Gnome King and Reubens have a few things in common. They both look charming in snazzy duds. And both enjoy a little ‘sexy fun’.

Henry Rollins

Because when you think rainbow embellished unicorn named Bob Rainicorn, you think Henry Rollins. Bravo, Adventure Time. Bravo.

George Takei

Takei plays the smooth-talking bad guy, Ricardio the Heart Guy. No one does villainous smooth better than Takei. I totally believed him when he said he was gonna make out with Princess Bubblegum’s heart.

Erik Estrada

Estrada has a memorable turn as the King of Worms, which is second only to his memorable turn as Ponch, King of CHIPs.

Lou Ferrigno

Ferrigno played Billy, Fin and Jake’s hero. He also played the Incredible Hulk, who was my hero as a youngin’.  Speaking of which…was I the only 6 year old with a crush on Bill Bixby?

‘Weird’ Al Yankevic

Weid Al played Banana Man. AKA one of the cutest damn characters ever. Total kawaii.

Biz Markie

Perfect casting. Biz Markie IS Snorlack. I always like to think sad juice is kind of like the slug version of gin and juice.

Mark Hamill

Total geek out! Hamill gives voice to Fear Feaster, Punchy, and the Evil Guy. His performance as the Evil Guy is probably my favorite. You gotta love a villain who can be defeated by a kick to the nuts. If only Darth Vader was that easy to defeat!
