15 Best Harlem Shake Videos

If you’ve been perusing the internet at all in the past week, you’ve probably come across a Harlem Shake video. For real…they are everywhere. So what the heck is it? Well, the Harlem Shake is actually an old school hip hop dance, but in late 2012, music producer Baauer dropped a bass thumping track with the same name. Then in February, Youtuber FilthyFrank took it to a whole new level. Here’s the video that started it all:

So the basic premis is this : one odd solo dancer until the song really kicks in and then crazy ass dancing by everyone ensues. As with any good thing on the internet, many imitations have followed. Some have even surpassed the original. Here’s the 15 best so far.
