90s Kids, Check Out This Medley of Classic Disney Songs

By October 23, 2013

Oh My Disney (via Slashfilm) posted a video featuring singers Alex G. and Peter Hollens performing versions of classic songs from The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin. Disney commissioned the video to pimp a new Disney Classics Box Set they’re releasing, but this video is pretty impressive all on its own.

If you grew up watching these movies in the 1990s, you’ll likely be singing along at the top of your lungs, since we know you have all the words still memorized. Go ahead…there’s no shame in it.

If that’s a little too cutesy for you, FS points us to a gritty fake trailer spoof about Disney’s Planes (remember that Cars spin-off that hit theaters earlier this summer?), but this one’s called Warplanes and doesn’t exactly jibe with the “wholesome” Disney image the company has worked so hard to cultivate.
