A First Look at the ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan’ Game!

By January 27, 2016

THIS IS HOW IT’S DONE!! Based upon the IDW Publishing’s ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is coming to the PC (Steam), Xbox One/360, and PS4/3 this summer. The game pits the Turtles against the Foot Clan, aliens, and other mutants. The Turtles will face difficult bosses such as Bebop, Rocksteady, and Shredder AND there will be a single player mode where up to 3 friends can play with you in an online co-op (via Platinum Games).

Check out the very stellar new trailer below!

The combat system in this game promises to be filled with all the Ninjitsu you’ll ever need, with an animation style that mimics the comic’s cel-shaded art style. The trailer itself is leaps and bounds above the films even, in my humble opinion. Featuring at the very least, a fight with a mutant shark – and I’m pretty sure I just saw Bebop carrying a freakin chain saw!

Simply put, I cannot wait for this game. It harkens back to 1989, blowing quarter after quarter playing the classic arcade Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. And so, finally, it is time to return to battle with all my friends and this writer is super pumped about it!

So to everyone out there in the Nation, what do you think about this trailer? Does it bring you back to a simpler time in gaming? Or is it just another retread? Sound off below and check back in for all your future gaming news — right here at GeekNation.
