‘Batman: The Telltale Series’ First Trailer Reveals Gameplay Footage and Story Details

After several months of teasing footage and images from the new series, the first official trailer for Batman: The Telltale Series has been revealed, which will be the latest outing from Telltale Games that allows gamers to play as Batman and experience Gotham in a way they never have before, reminiscent of some of their previous, critically acclaimed series. Just ahead of the first episode’s release date as well.

The trailer gives us our first real look at some of the gameplay in the series, as well as the various characters and main story themes to start. Check it out below:

In addition to a visual style that’s meant to look like a living, breathing comic book, the new series features an incredible cast of voice over actors includingTroy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle.

Telltale is one of the most reliable studios in the gaming industry right now, and the fan excitement surrounding this new series was evident from the moment it was announced. Luckily, fans won’t have to wait much longer to take a deep dive into the latest gaming iteration of Bruce Wayne’s crime-filled world either.

Episode 1 of Batman: The TellTale Series will be available on August 2nd.
