‘Batman v Superman’ Blu Ray Special Features Revealed

By May 5, 2016

It’s already been fairly clear from the beginning that the blu ray release for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is going to be packed to the brim with extra footage and bonus features, in addition to the already highly-scrutinized ultimate cut of the film. In case the release of a weird deleted scene the week after the film’s theatrical release wasn’t enough proof of that already.

Now, thanks to a Twitter user, it looks like the special features that will be included along with the Ultimate Cut on the blu ray have been revealed.

Anton Volkov tweeted the following list of features out (via JB HI-FI):

Now, there are some typos in the listing here, so it’s possible that these could be subject to change in between now and the film’s blu ray release. However, it looks like DC and Zack Snyder may have lived up to their promises when it comes to the amount of featurettes and behind-the-scenes footage that fans of the film can look forward to checking out, that this listing at least seems to indicate.

The film is perhaps the most divisive comic book movie ever made though, so depending on how you felt about the movie itself, it’s possible that you see these special features as either cause for celebration or an over-extended eye roll. At this point though, I’d much rather just see an entire movie dedicated to Zack Snyder’s editing process on the film, just to see if it’s any more coherent than some of the decisions made in the theatrical cut’s pacing and timeline.

The Batman v Superman blu ray does not currently have a release date.
