This year’s Comic Con International in San Diego will be the final chance for Warner Bros. to make their case for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to the hardcore fan community, since it will hit theaters next March. You would think that would mean that the studio will attempt to be pulling out all of the stops at the biggest yearly event for geek culture, and you’d be right. The film will reportedly be given a full hour-long block of time at the big show, presumably in Hall H.

According to Collider, who recently spoke with the film’s Lex Luthor in actor Jesse Eisenberg, the actor let slip that he’ll be at the big show in San Diego in order to help promote the upcoming film’s release. He said,

I’ll be there…I think I’m there for the hour I’m on the stage.

Last year at Comic Con in Hall H, director Zack Snyder premiered footage showing Batman in an armored Batsuit, apparently ready to do battle with the Man of Steel himself. That footage eventually made its way into the film’s first teaser trailer, but Snyder hinted at last year’s Comic Con that the film would be returning with a larger presence in 2015. An hour-long presentation would certainly be that.

Additionally, Eisenberg took some time to praise the script for his upcoming debut as Lex Luthor, which was rewritten by Oscar winner Chris Terrio (Argo) from the original screenplay by David S. Goyer.

I like what this writer does, this guy Chris Terrio. He wrote this movie we did and I just think he’s so great. He’s such a good writer. I like what he does with characters, I like what he does with wordplay and cleverness. I like anything he writes.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. It will hit theaters on March 25th, 2016. For more on the film as it takes shape, keep it locked on GeekNation.
