Stop the presses! The final Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer has finally arrived.

This movie has been riding the highs and lows of the movie fandom for months. The announcement of the film – High. The initial reaction to Ben Affleck announced as Batman – Arguable low (my tune has now changed, that’s for sure). The Comic-Con trailer – Big high.

Then there was the trailer from a few months ago that not only revealed Doomsday, but also the inevitable team up between Supes and Bats, which was considered to be a low point amongst some fans as they believed that too much was shown. This brand new and final trailer ends on a massive high in my opinion though, by finally putting the focus back on just Batman and Superman.

Check it out below:

Pardon me while I catch my breath and then go watch that trailer again… Okay, I’m back in. Not that I was never really out but my excitement level had tempered just a bit. We see that Alfred is even more involved than we ever have before (at least on the big screen). Then we get to see The Dark Knight finally kicking some major ass throughout (what an incredible sequence), and may have just sold me right there.

I had to stop and go watch that trailer again. Where was I? Oh, yeah did I mention that shot of the Man of Steel catching a Batarang? We get to hear Wonder Woman speak and leap into action for the first time, as well as more Lex Luthor repeating the same old lines. And then…and then Batman blocks a punch from Superman…and the look of shock on Superman’s face… This is how you put together a final trailer. Everything about it was great. Not a bad way to start a Thursday morning.

Now, I’m going to go watch this trailer again.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to hit theatres on March 25th.
