Nation, a new reveal event for Battlefield 5, the latest iteration in the massive FPS franchise, has been finally announced, which will reveal some new details for the highly-anticipated follow up game. The event will take place on date on May 6th at 4PM ET.

In addition, the folks at EA have launched a countdown website here to drum up more excitement for the title.

Coming off the success of Star Wars: Battlefront, DICE the developer of Battlefield has some increased expectations to live up to this time around. As well as some complaints about a lack of individual content i.e. a story mode. One can assume that the brain trust at EA is already addressing those issues.

EA has an impressive lineup of games due out in the next 2 years though as well, including Mass Effect Andromeda, Titanfall 2, and of course Battlefield 5.

Nation what do you think about EA/DICE pumping out another Battlefield game? Is it a welcomed addition to your FPS library or has Battlefront turned you off the company completely?
