Brand New ‘Justice League’ Concept Art Revealed

By June 28, 2016

The official Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition has been made available digitally now, and unsurprisingly, there have already been some interesting new tidbits about the future of the DC Cinematic Universe included with the home video release. Aside from all of the extended scenes and darker moments, that is. It looks like DC is taking this chance to not only try and lighten some of the complaints regarding Batman v Superman as well, but some of their other DC projects now also.

Following recent, confidence-boosting set reports from next year’s Justice League, a new piece of concept art for the highly-anticipated film has been revealed with the Ultimate Edition that gives us some better ideas at what each of the team’s heroes may look like in the film.

Aside from just the exciting hype surrounding his character right now, Ezra Miller’s version of Barry Allen/The Flash already looks like the most promising new addition to the DCCU here. The Flash costume, assuming that the concept art is truthful to the actual live-action version, is not only notably brighter than the other heroes’ costumes, but it just looks better too. In all fairness though, I’m liking the designs for Cyborg the more and more that I see of him in these images.

It’s no secret that Warner Bros. is having to do some serious damage control for their DC films following the mostly-negative reaction to Batman v Superman earlier this year, with a lot of those hopes and good will being put on the shoulders of Suicide Squad to deliver this year as well. With the strategic set reports coming from Justice League and a clear change in direction compared to Dawn of Justice though, the anticipation surrounding Zack Snyder’s next DC film seems to be growing, again.

Justice League Part One is set to hit theatres on November 10th, 2017.

I don’t understand. How is it that they have Superman concept art when he died and can’t ever come back?
