‘Daredevil’ Showrunner Answers Fan Questions, Reveals Show Details

By November 3, 2014

Early last month, we got our first official look at Marvel’s new “Daredevil” series that will hit Netflix sometime in 2015. Now showrunner Steven S. DeKnight has taken to Twitter to answer a swatch of fan questions about the show, including some inspirations, teases about larger connections to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and much more. Read his answers below, and thanks to CS for the heads up:

Did you notice how DeKnight mentioned Punisher again? This is at least the second time he’s done this when talking about his show, and I’m starting to think that Frank Castle is going to make an appearance on the small screen sooner than we think. I’m guessing Jeph Loeb and the folks at Marvel TV are already in the casting process, and they’re going to keep it secret for a big reveal when the show finally airs. We’ll see if they can keep something like that quiet for as long as it takes to get an air date, but here’s hoping.
