Electro Blasts His Way Through Times Square in New Clip from ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’

By January 1, 2014

Last night, Sony Pictures had Spider-Man hang out on top of Times Square’s famous ball before it dropped at midnight, and they promised a look at some fresh footage from the upcoming superhero flick. Well, they delivered, and now that footage is online for all to see.

In another nicely-timed bit of marketing, Electro (Jamie Foxx) sucks up some power in Times Square and starts blasting his way through the city as Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) taunts him and, in typical Spidey fashion, makes quips to innocent bystanders he rescues. Check it out below, and make sure to mark down May 2nd, 2014 on your calendars for the release of this action-packed sequel.
