Following the first preview showing of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Part 1 yesterday at the West End in London – where creator J.K. Rowling also implored audience members to #KeepTheSecrets from the play – the very first reactions to the eigthth installment in the Potter franchise have hit the interwebz and spoiler alert: apparently it’s really, really great.

Welcomingly, the reactions themselves are very spoiler free, so for those of you keeping your ears plugged until the script’s release on July 31st, you can read these reactions knowing that nothing will be spoiled, other than the play’s quality, apparently.

Check out some of the more notable reactions to the play below:

The first preview of Cursed Child Part 2 will happen tomorrow, but for now, it’s looking like the newest brain child from Rowling and co. is already on the receiving end of some mighty high praise. Picking up 19 years after the events of Deathly Hallows, where the book and film’s epilogue left off, the story follows adult versions of the characters we came to know and love in the original stories, and their kids as they battle with living in shadows and the relationship between Harry Potter and his youngest son, Albus Severus, is tested.
