‘Game of Thrones’ Images Catch Us Up With (Almost) Every Character

Spoiler alert: everyone still looks worried. Rightfully so too.

We’re only a few more months away from Game of Thrones fans finally having some of their most burning questions answered with the premiere of the upcoming sixth season of HBO’s premiere fantasy drama. After some intriguing trailers and revealing pieces of story information that have been revealed over the past few weeks as well, a whole slew of new images from the new season have been revealed.

Featuring new looks at a majority of the show’s central characters, both old and new (with one not-so-surprising omission), the images seem to tease some interesting character interactions (especially amongst the Lannister family) and where some of the characters may have gone since we last saw them in season five.

Check out the images below (Spoilers for those of you not caught up on Game of Thrones to follow):

GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 1 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 2 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 3 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 4 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 5 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 6 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 7 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 8 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 9 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 10 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 11 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 12 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 13 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 14 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 15 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 16 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 17 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 18 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 19 GAME OF THRONES SEASON 6 20

So many images, so many theories, so little time.

From the looks of it, Myrcella’s death at the end of the last season seems to have taken a major toll on Jamie when we catch up with him this season, and his relationship with Cersei. Is it possible his grief might send him on a mission to find a certain warrior he said goodbye to in the fourth season? I’m just saying, seeing him and Brienne together again is something on my Game of Thrones bucket list.

Also featured in the images are a now blind Arya Stark, in addition to both Bran and Max von Sydow’s Three-Eyed Raven, and while I have no idea what is going on with these two this season, it’s becoming more and more clear that they’re going to play a major role in it, and in the complete future of Westeros. Out of all of the characters this season, that duo might just be the ones I’m most looking forward to seeing.

Game of Thrones season 6 will premiere on April 24th on HBO.
