How To Pimp Out Your Thanksgiving Dinner Table GeekNation Style

By November 21, 2012

Yay! Turkey day is tomorrow and if you’re like me you’re readying those super comfy pajama jeans for some marathon eating. I’m not the only one doing this, right? Thanksgiving is already pretty rad, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to make it even radder! Here’s a look at some super-cool food and decor ideas to make this traditional holiday a little cooler.

First things first…we have to have an awesome table and nothing is more awesome than this interactive LED light table.

It’d be a shame to cover up these beauties with green bean casserole!

Break out the glue gun. Pretend it’s a blaster when you make these!

Ninja salt and pepper shakers will really stand out. Which is actually very un-ninja like come to think of it.

Light the scene with Professor Lupin’s sweet skeleton candles! These would be rad for Halloween too!

Piranha plant wine glasses? Yes, please!

But let’s get to the real star of the show…THE FOOD!

A turkey that the vegetarians can enjoy is a must. 😛

Why not jazz up your turkey with some deeeeelicious bacon.

I bet it would great grilled on this R2D2 grill and smoker. Because HELLO? R2D2 GRILL AND SMOKER!?!

Be safe though. And nothing makes you safer than sticking your hand up an Exogorth’s backside.

Mashed potatoes don’t have to be boring! Richard Dreyfuss those spuds up!

Lembas for your elven guests.

And freshly toasted slices for all the hitchhikers in your universe.

Gobble worthy side dishes.

Butterbeer is the perfect beverage to wash it all down with!

Don’t forget to save room for some apple pie.

I can’t get enough Pi, you?

And remember! Ultimately Thanksgiving is about family and being thankful for what you have. And you should be especially thankful that there’s no way your family gatherings could ever be as awkward as this one:
