Oh man, J.J. is having a lot of fun with this secret.

One of the biggest conversational points for Star Wars fans over the past few months has been the apparent omission of Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker from any of the promotional materials, images, posters, or trailers for The Force Awakens. Abrams has addressed the character’s mystery before a few times already, but it looks like he’s finally taken the mystery to a whole new level.

In a new video promoting the latest campaign in the Star Wars: Force For Change movement, which offers fans chances to interact with the Star Wars cast and crew in exciting new ways through charitable donations, J.J. Abrams continued to promote the various different charities that this latest campaign would be helping. The video features appearances from Daisy Ridley (Rey), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron). Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Andy Serkis (Supreme Leader Snoke), John Boyega (Finn), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Carrie Fisher (Leia), and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) as each of the cast members talked about their various different causes.

However, right at the end of the video, Abrams pointed out one of the few cast members that did not make an appearance with Mark Hamill, teasing that a new video for the campaign next week could offer fans our very first look at Luke Skywalker in the film. Check out the video below:

Is it true? Could we finally see Luke return next week, and will it be for a good cause too?

The campaign was announced just last week with a video that featured Harrison Ford himself surprising fans from around the world over Skype, and could explain his omission from the above video as well. After months and months of wondering though, it looks like we might finally be getting our first look at Luke in the film. At least, we think. After all, we know how sneaky Abrams and co. can be about these things.
