John Boyega Reveals He’s Team Cap in ‘Captain America: Civil War’

By March 11, 2016

Looks like we weren’t the only ones amped about that new trailer for Captain America: Civil War yesterday.

Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens star John Boyega recently tweeted out his feelings about the upcoming, highly-anticipated Marvel film as well, revealing that he is fully on #TeamCap in the massive superhero conflict. Although, we can’t say we blame him.

Check out his tweets below:

I mean, it’s really not all that surprising considering Finn left the First Order for freedom and choice. Why would he side with a superhero legislation act then?

With both this and his recent Battlefront tweets, Boyega just keeps endearing himself more and more to the fan community. Considering he’s currently in the midst of production on director Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII right now as well, it’s nice to see we’re not the only ones excited about the future of the MCU.

Captain America: Civil War is set to hit theatres on May 6th.
