‘Jurassic World’ Doesn’t Want You to Forget Chris Pratt Is In It

Today is the first day of the rest of Chris Pratt’s life. The funny guy is on the cusp of superstardom, thanks to his bonafide star turn in this week’s opener Guardians of the Galaxyand it looks like he’s mere moments away from shooting right into stratosphere. One thing is for sure, Pratt’s upcoming Monday is going to look a whole lot different than any other Monday of his life so far.

Pratt also has another potential blockbuster role lined up, thanks to the just-wrapped Jurassic World, the fourth Jurassic Park film that takes its audience back to Isla Nublar (really, guys?) to enjoy more time at the park (seriously? such a bad idea). We know that Pratt is playing a kind of dinosaur wrangler, so here’s hoping that means his character will survive the inevitable disaster that will break out in the park somewhere around the film’s thirty-five minute mark.

As he’s been prone to do over the past few months, director Colin Trevorrow has just shared a new picture from the film on his Twitter (if you’re not following him yet, here’s your reminder to do so), and this one is all about Pratt and Guardians (what a class act). Trevorrow tweeted last night:

And here’s a larger look at that picture:

Jurassic World

What do we think is going here? Pratt sure seems to be looking at someone — it seems fair to guess it’s a dinosaur — with a look of wonder, mixed up with some confusion and maybe a touch of fear. What are those dinosaurs getting up to? And will Pratt’s character be the first one to notice that something is amiss?

Trevorrow has previously shown us peeks at his feature, in the form of a bloody shot, and we’ve already had a nice batch of official stills hit the web awhile back. The production seems to be giving fans just the right amount of marketing material to enjoy (and while we don’t think this park brochure leak was a purposeful move, it’s only adding to our excitement).

The film also stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus, and Andy Buckley.

Jurassic World opens on June 12, 2015. Guardians of the Galaxy is in theaters today. Chris Pratt is a megastar, uh, right about…now.
