We’re only a few weeks away from the premiere of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which marks the most ambitious series from any of the DC properties yet. Combining supporting and lead characters from both The Flash and Arrow, the series brings together eight heroes and villains from the DC Universe and sends them on a time-travelling mission to stop the immortal Vandal Savage from the ruling the world, led through their adventures by Time Master Rip Hunter.

Also featured in the lineup are Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Firestorm (Victor Garber/Franz Drameh), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), The ATOM (Brandon Routh), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), and the resurrected Sara Lance as White Canary (Caity Lotz).

A new trailer for the series has premiered online, and not only does it tease more scenes with Sara kicking ass (which is always welcome), but also one of the series’ other villains that isn’t Vandal Savage. Check it out below:

Okay, I really want this series to be good. The concept is so wacky and the incorporation of some of the DC Universe’s other heroes and anti-heroes seems so far out of left field that it might just work. Add in the time-travel element, and not only does it looks like we can expect some pretty slapstick comedic moments, but also callbacks to some of history’s truly crazy moments.

Fingers crossed that this ends up turning out as well as The Flash has been, and avoids the tonally inconsistent hole that Arrow seems to have fallen into this season. Although, this entire show could be a disappointment, but if I get one scene of Sara Lance kicking Hitler’s ass, then it will have been worth it. Just saying.

Legends of Tomorrow is set premiere on the CW on Thursday, January 21st.
