Mark Ruffalo Tweets Pics from ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Set

By April 23, 2014

We know Joss Whedon has been filming Avengers: Age of Ultron for a little while now since he’s already released a video apologizing to the people of Seoul for “destroying” their city, but we’ve decided not to run any paparazzi photos of the actors in costume here at GeekNation. When one of the stars of the film takes to Twitter to share a few pics and an update or two about the production, though, that’s totally worth sharing. Mark Ruffalo took a break from filming to update fans about what’s going on:

It must have been a really cool day on the set of the first film when the whole team stood side by side in costume, but now, knowing how much of a huge success the first movie was, this experience must have been even more special for the cast. Ruffalo also tweeted a photo of himself and his buddy (and Zodiac co-star) Robert Downey Jr. between takes:

And while Scarlett Johansson is currently a few months pregnant, it appears she’s still on set working with Whedon and the rest of the crew. (Either that, or Ruffalo’s trying to trick us with a stunt double or something here.)

Yesterday, Downey also got involved and took a photo of himself with one of the executive producers of the movie:

And just a little while ago, Downey posted yet another photo, this one sort of a self-deprecating picture of his chair being smaller than his fellow castmates’:

Not sure a lowered chair is going to take the sting out of knowing that Downey is likely going to make even more on this movie than the approximately $50 million he hauled in on The Avengers, but hey – at least he’s trying.
Avengers: Age of Ultron opens on May 1st, 2015, so expect a few more behind-the-scenes posts like this in the coming year.
