New ‘Batman V Superman’ Clip Debuts, Has Superman Showing “Mercy” To Bats

By January 14, 2016

It doesn’t take the worlds greatest detective to notice that DC heard the fan complaints about the previous Batman V. Superman trailer showing too much of the film.

Ever since the Doomsday trailer dropped it’s been quick little TV spots showing off the ridiculously anticipated flick with very little new footage. Don’t get me wrong; I personally don’t think it’s ridiculous. I’d probably let someone punch me in the face if they told me I could watch this movie afterwards but I have issues.

Every huge movie releases a bunch of TV spots and short clips, so that isn’t necessarily the case here; but I’m willing to bet they continue to show a minimal amount of the film from here out. Either way, here’s a clip you have mostly seen before with a little bit more dialogue from angry Supes:

Now, unless Batfleck has been following Superman around repeating “Tell me, do you bleed?” over and over again (which would be hilarious) they clearly have him saying the same lines in different settings and are just using the extra one for the trailer. If you remember from the rooftop footage a while back; they also had Batman saying those same lines.

The new footage here comes from Superman saying

Next time they shine your light in the sky, don’t go to it. The Bat is dead. Bury it. Consider this mercy.”

Which is a great way of showing just how confident Superman is. (wouldn’t you be?) That is until Batfleck creepily asks him whether or not he bleeds. Then Superman looks legitimately creeped out and just flys away. (wouldn’t you?)

Well, that’s it for me. Time to get back to just making sure I don’t die before this movie comes out in March. Check back in to GeekNation for more from creepy Batman!
