DC and Warner Bros. are set to get the ball rolling on their cinematic universe next March with the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Not only will the film be the first time that the two heavyweights square off against one another, it will also be the benchmark on which all future DC films are based. To say there’s a lot riding on the success of the film is a huge understatement.
Regardless of the final product, the one thing that no one can refute is how beautiful the film looks. That first full trailer was amazing and all of the stills and images that have been released so far have really showcased the filmmaker’s painstaking attention to detail. Case in point, the very cool interview that DC All Access’ Tiffany Smith did with the film’s costume designer. You can check it out here:
Along with the interview, DC All Access also revealed some breathtaking concept art that showcases our main heroes. I am especially in love with the Wonder Woman images (although am still on the fence about the actual casting!). Check them out below:
While I am cautiously optimistic about the film, there’s no denying that visually it’s going to be stunning. Zack Snyder is amazing when it comes to the visuals, but sometimes falls short when it comes to the characterization. Here’s hoping that we get the DC Extended Universe that we want and deserve.
