New ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Teaser is Absolutely Perfect

Despite what I thought to be an overall lackluster fifth season, Game of Thrones is coming back in just a little less than a month, and so far, the promotional trailers and images from the sixth season have been off the charts incredible. Whether it be the seemingly larger presence of the Night’s King following his introduction in “Hardhome” or Arya’s continued training at the House of Black and White, this season looks batshit insane in the best possible way.

Moving farther ahead into unknown territory as well, since George R. R. Martin has yet to release a sixth installment in the novels, the tension and mystery in the new season promises to be even more heightened because of it too, and I, cannot wait.

A new, incredible teaser trailer for the new season debuted today as well, and remember – we’re in the great game now.

As usual, the dialogue from David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, and Bryan Cogman is incredible, and better yet, wholeheartedly cinematic, which I’ve always loved about this series.

I’m legitimately surprised by how prominently the Whitewalkers have been featured in the new trailers though, whether it be the image shown above (which gave the cinematogaphy lover in me actual goosebumps), but also an extended look at what I guess is an eventual meeting between The Night’s King and Bran, which might not go over so well for the crippled Stark boy. Even if it is looking more and more like his storyline this season could be the most eventful and interesting.

The promise of a new face to enter the hall of the faceless men by the way? Nothing surprising considering this show’s track record, but it still managed to make the hairs on my neck stand up.

Game of Thrones season 6 will premiere on April 24th on HBO.

Last season had a few Excellent & some Good Moments, but there was way to much filler story line. Hopefully the trailers which have been Great aren’t raising are hopes. Only real good thing is any Book Elitist are right there with the rest of Us this season!!!!
