New Set Photos from ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ May Reveal Scoot McNairy’s Secret Role

Comic Book Movie pointed us to some new set photos from Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that were taken by Twitters users, including “BananaDoc,” who has been supplying a steady stream of set pics from Detroit. Take a look at them below:

 

 

 

 

That last photo shows actor Scoot McNairy, who was hired in a mysterious role a couple of months ago. But it only shows him from the waist up. The most important photo in this set is this one:

 

Those green socks are the color of a green screen, and have led many to speculate that it means that McNairy could be playing The Flash in the film. It’s a good guess, because I can’t think of many other possibilities for reasons why the production would require an actor to wear socks that color aside from the obvious: that visual effects are going to come into play. But we still have a long time to wait until this movie hits theaters, because it doesn’t arrive until May 6th, 2016.
