In the 13th episode of Killer POV, your hosts Rob Galluzzo (FEARnet, Icons Of Fright), Elric Kane (Inside Horror) and Rebekah McKendry (Fangoria) discuss the rare hybrid of genre cinema known as the horror/comedy! First up, both Rebekah and Rob checked out Dark Skies, the latest from Blumhouse Productions; then Rob is now all caught up on NBC’s “Hannibal.” Elric reports back from the screening of Cruising with William Friedkin in attendance and Rebekah reminds us of the cult classic Rawhead Rex, which spurs a debate about Clive Barker adaptations. The focus of the show then concentrates on horror/comedies. Everything from the tradition classics (An American Werewolf In London, the Evil Dead sequels) to the older films (Old Dark House, Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein) to the splatter flicks (Dead Alive, Re-Animator, Feast) are all covered. Listen in for the full checklist!

    Your mother Eat my dog!

I love the Peter Jackson movies, I think British and Australian and Kiwi senses of humour are very similar and crossover really well

Mum! An Naked American man just stole my balloons,

One of my favourites, Really scary at times and really funny at others, and a really funny cameo by Rik Mayal from the young ones

And Don’s John dies at the end is superb, “There is no way to open that door” and Pauls Giamattis reaction to first seeing a demon is perfect, love it

Great stuff! Completely missed the Rik Mayal cameo – Now that you point it out it’s obvious. Big fan of Jackson!
