If you love animated movies (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t?) you can thank Jamie Sparer Roberts. The acclaimed Disney Animation Casting Director has been behind some of the biggest features as of late. Is “Let It Go” stuck in your head? Well, it is now. Sorry. She also happens to be one of the kindest, genuine and open casting directors in the game. I’m happy to call her a friend, and after meeting her on today’s podcast, I’m sure you will, too.

Don’t forget: Out of the Blue has a Facebook page! Also, be sure to let David know what you thought of the show at @DavidBlue and @GeekNation. While you’re at it, spread the word about the podcast if you dig it!

Yay, you’re back! I really missed the podcast through that little hiatus, David. You’ve spoken with other guests about an actors’ experience with casting – it was fascinating to get details about it from the other side of that process. As someone interested in being a part of the industry (specifically as a writer/producer), getting a glimpse into different aspects of Film/TV making is something I highly value and your podcast is always an entertaining and informative source.

In previous episodes, you’ve asked listeners where they are while listening. Personally, I usually listen while doing my morning chores and taking the dogs for a walk. It makes my daily routine far more fun (at least on Wednesdays). So thank you for that.

I can’t wait for the next episode! And I really look forward to the next time you’ll be gracing my TV screen with your talents.

    • Thanks! I appreciate the support and comment. Nice to know I can join you on your morning walk. 😉

Glad to have you back David, it’s been a long hiatus without any new podcast. A great guest and awesome to hear how things are from a Casting Director’s perspective. I am also hoping to bring you new listeners too because your podcasts are quite interesting and your guests very interesting too. I am also quite eager to watch Zootopia once it’s released this weekend, partly because I am a fan of Ginnifer Goodwin and she does voice over for Judy Hopps. Looking forward to your next podcast and good luck on getting a new role in Pilot season.

    • Thanks! And feel free to reach out to guests on Twitter and convince them to come on!
