Star Wars Battlefront Gameplay Launch Trailer Released

By October 27, 2015

With less than one month to go until the launch of Star Wars Battlefront, EA and DICE released the Gameplay Launch Trailer for Star Wars Battlefront. Like the videos that came before it, this trailer is just utterly stunning. The team at DICE has brilliantly captured the look and sound of the Star Wars Universe and this trailer just exemplifies it.

The new trailer shows off some new locations that were not included in the hugely successful beta that ran earlier this month. Battles rage on the desert sands of Tatooine and speeder bikes fly through the forest on the beautifully rendered Endor. It’s all here to show the more than 9 million players who logged over 1.6 billions hours of gameplay that there is a lot more sights and sounds to see in the game.

The other new and exciting piece showcased in the trailer is some action from the game’s powerful Hero Classes. Beta favorites Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker are shown dueling it out on Hoth while the newly announced Boba Fett and Princess Leia are shown battling on Tatooine. Han Solo makes a brief appearance wielding his blaster and Emperor Palpatine shoots enough force lighting to make your inner wookie howl. Each character model looks near perfect compared to their real world counterpart showing just how powerful CIDE’s new Frostbite engine truly is.

Star Wars Battlefront continues to look simply incredible. This trailer has me just giddy with excitement and anticipation. Do yourself a favor and just watch the trailer below. You won’t regret it. Star Wars Battlefront is set to launch on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 17.
