This Guy’s Hulkbuster Suit Might Just Be the Best Cosplay Costume Ever

By October 12, 2015

Cosplay and conventions go hand-in-hand. Walking through a convention floor is like seeing dozens of different incarnations of some of your favorite movie, video game, TV, or even book characters all around you. The trend has become more and more popular over the past few years it seems like though, as the conventions have grown in popularity as well. Nowadays, it’s hard to really stand out amongst some of the other, high-end cosplayers too, but it looks like one guy at the New York Comic-Con this year figured out the perfect way to make sure everyone in the crowd could see him.

A man constructed his very own Hulkbuster costume for the convention this year, and yes, it is just as ridiculously awesome as you might think. Standing nine and a half feet tall and elevated by stilts, it really doesn’t get much cooler than this Hulkbuster incarnation. Cosplay-wise at least. Check out a video of the cosplay below (via YouTube):

The Hulkbuster Iron Man suit is something comic book fans were asking for, for years, and while Avengers: Age of Ultron seemed to divide a large number of audience members, I don’t think anyone was disappointed with that Hulkbuster vs Hulk fight that took place about halfway through the film. No, that was basically the definition of comic book awesome, and might just be one of the greatest superhero set pieces created onscreen yet. Now all we need is a life-size Hulk and we’ve have the cosplay brawl of the century on our hands here!
