It’s been quite the whopper of a season for “Saturday Night Live,” with plenty of hilarious highs and some disappointing lows, and the end of the show’s year is in sight with the final three hosts announced to finish this landmark 40th season with a bang.

First up, Scarlett Johansson will make for the second Avenger this year to host “SNL” as she returns to Studio 8H on May 2nd for her fourth hosting stint (one more and she’ll be in the five-timers club!). Will it be too much to ask for yet another Avengers sketch, this time poking fun at Black Widow? Joining her will be Wiz Khalifa, bringing his Furious 7 soundtrack song “See You Again” to the stage.

Then the next weekend will bring Reese Witherspoon back to “SNL” for the second time as host. Witherspoon hasn’t hosted “SNL” since September 2001, and she was actually the host of the season premiere of the show, which was a little difficult because it was just weeks after the attacks on 9/11. This episode should prove to be a little easier to handle, and Florence + the Machine will be the musical guest.

Finally, for the 40th season finale, comedian Louis C.K. will host for his third time on May 16th. Considering the previous two times he hosted the show, he was nominated for an Emmy, this will be a fantastic way to close out the season. It happens just as the fifth season of “Louie” is airing on FX with his new comedy special, “Louis C.K. Live at the Comedy Store” hitting the network on May 28th.

With a comedian hosting the finale, at least we know the hit-or-miss monologue will be great, since it will just be him doing stand-up material. But other than that, we hope the sketches are golden as well. There might even be some fun with the musical guest since it’s occasional actress Rihanna singing this time.

The last time Louis C.K. hosted, it brought about this sketch, one of the best of last season:
