Amanda Seyfried Will Play the Female Lead in Seth MacFarlane’s ‘Ted 2’

By February 24, 2014

The Thunder Buddies are back, and this time, they’re bringing Amanda Seyfried with ’em!

Deadline reports the Les Miserables star has been set as the new female lead opposite Mark Wahlberg for Ted 2 by writer/director Seth MacFarlane. Mila Kunis, who starred in the first film, may return in a small role or may be written out of the sequel all together. But before you start to panic about Kunis’ position as Meg on “Family Guy,” you can unclench: she’s still Meg, it just seems MacFarlane is taking a different narrative route for the sequel that doesn’t feature her character as heavily (or perhaps at all).

I’m just glad Mark Wahlberg’s back – who doesn’t like the adventures of a boy and his bear sitting on the couch smoking weed and eating Corn Pops (I mean, “Bops”) straight from the box?

Okay, so they’re not exactly Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh, but I still love them!

Till then, enjoy the Thunder Buddies song (NSFW).

What would YOU like to see happen in Ted 2? I’m actually hoping for a lady bear for Ted!

  • Makes sense, considering she’s starring in MacFarlane’s A Million Ways to Die in the West.

    • Ronnie James Dio

      maybe starring in more.
still kinda trashes the original story if hes not with kulnis.
