Bruce Campbell Looking At You For New Reality Series

By January 18, 2017

Have you ever watched Bruce Campbell on the Starz series Ash vs Evil Dead and thought, “Ya know, I’d love to someday spent a night in a haunted mansion with that guy.”

Well, now you have a chance. That is, if you can submit an application before a Feb. 1 deadline to be part of a new reality show starring Campbell himself.

The untitled reality television series currently is in development with Campbell in the headline role. The project will either put Campbell and some lucky participants in a haunted mansion or “cursed woods.”

Producers are looking for people who are horror memorabilia collectors, horror film blog writers, cosplay masters, macabre makeup artists, film directors, haunted house owners – really anyone with a passion for the genre, according to Inside the Magic.

Those who are selected to participate will need to make sure that both July and August is clear on their calendar, and be willing to submit to a medical and psychiatric exam. Apparently, while the producers are looking for some realness to their reality, they’re not looking to recreate American Horror Story: Roanoke – at least not to that extent.

To apply, potential contestants must fill out a form, submit two photos of themselves, and a copy of their photo identification.

Virtually nothing else is known about this project, including who is producing it, and if it has a network commitment yet, or if producers are still shopping it around. Campbell’s IMDb profile does not show any attachment to a reality series as of yet.

However, Campbell’s assistant – stunt actor Mike Estes – has confirmed on his Facebook account that this project is indeed real, and includes the cult horror star.

Ash vs Evil Dead, a continuation of Sam Raimi’s cult classic The Evil Dead from 1981, just wrapped its second season on Starz last month.

The premium cable channel already has ordered a third season of the chainsaw-wielding hero, planned for later this year.
