Disney Teases ‘Ant-Man’ and ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Trailers

By January 2, 2015

Very soon, we’ll be able to get our very first glimpse at Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man, the long-awaited film starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, and Evangeline Lilly. In true Marvel fashion, they announced that the trailer will arrive in “ant-sized” form, giving us the trailer in a very small frame. The Ant-Man trailer will arrive in “human sized” form on January 6th during the premiere of the Agent Carter TV show, which airs on ABC Monday at 8/7c. See the brief teaser below!

Marvel also announced that we’ll soon be getting a second look at Avengers: Age of Ultron, the highly anticipated sequel to 2012’s The Avengers. The next look at Age of Ultron will also make its debut on television, during the College Football playoff national championship on January 12th, at 8:30pm ET. They also released a teaser giving us just the slightest taste of that look, which you can also see below.

Age of Ultron‘s first trailer bowed back at the end of October, ahead of schedule due to a premature leak. It definitely showed that the second Avengers film will be taking a decidedly darker turn when compared to the first team-up film, amping things up in a way that many fans had likely been hoping for. Many of the best sequels seem to take things in a harder-edged direction, with The Empire Strikes Back, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and The Dark Knight all coming to mind right away.

Ant-Man is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 17th, while Avengers: Age of Ultron will arrive two-and-a-half months earlier on May 1st. For more on Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate, keep an eye on GeekNation!
