Former Pixar Artist Gives Iconic Scenes From R-rated Films A Whole New Look

By March 20, 2015

Ever wished you could see your favorite R-rated movies illustrated as children’s books? Your wish may have just come true.

Released last month, “Movies R Fun!: A Collection of Cinematic Classics for the Pre-(Film) School Cinephile” takes some of the best known moments in cinema and turns them into a “children’s picture book parody for grown-ups,” featuring images from Jaws, Fight Club, American BeautyGoodfellas, Psycho, The Blues Brothers and MORE!

Created by Josh Cooley, this former storyboard artist for Pixar has some sweet credits under his belt, including The Incredibles and Up, but it’s these amazing renderings that make my cinephile heart squeal with glee.

See how many you can name!

These are BEYOND perfection and so amazing that I can’t even BEGIN to show you all of them! If you want to see more from “Movies R Fun!: A Collection of Cinematic Classics for the Pre-(Film) School Cinephile,” feel free to grab the book from Amazon or your local bookseller.
