GeekNation Bringing ‘Holliston’ Back in 2016

By July 20, 2015

GeekNation is already the place to check out the incredible Movie Crypt podcast from filmmakers Adam Green and Joe Lynch, but now we’ll also be the place to see new episodes of their beloved TV series that some had feared was gone forever.

As announced this morning by Entertainment Weekly, the horror/comedy sitcom “Holliston” will be returning to life right here at GeekNation next year. The show’s original principle cast members, including Green (who’s also the show’s creator) and Lynch (who serves with Green as executive producer) are back alongside Laura Ortiz, Corri English, and Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider will all be back for the new episodes which will encompass the third season of the show.

Premiering in 2012 on FEARnet as the fledgling network’s first original series, “Holliston” ran for two seasons before going on hiatus for Green and Lynch to direct their next film projects. Following the failure of the network and the death of cast member Dave Brockie, the show’s future seemed uncertain. Luckily, Green and Lynch’s previous association with GeekNation through the Movie Crypt podcast helped to make the upcoming third season a reality. It will run for 10 episodes, and is expected to debut next year.

Want to know more? Why not watch the announcement straight from the “Holliston” crew themselves? See that below, and stay tuned to GeekNation and ArieScope for more details as they emerge on the long-awaited return of “Holliston!”

  • This is pretty awesome guys. I know how much this means to Adam, and it’s great to hear the excitement from all of you. Way to go, and to have it on Geeknation is really neat and crazy.

Is Geek Nation gonna be hosting the other seasons as well or just 3? Currently I have no way of viewing any of it legally… Australian distribution sucks… people always say “coming soon” here but it never happens…

Same in the UK. The only place I know to watch Seasons 1 & 2 legally is on for $9.99 and $12.99. More for HD. I want the DVD/BRs.
