New ‘Batman V Superman Dawn of Justice’ Posters Highlight The Trinity

By December 16, 2015

So, with the world submerged in all things Star Wars, the Hollywood machine is still chugging along, getting ready for a new year and a new crop of movies. With only three months until the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Warner Bros. is trying to keep the film top of mind for movie-goers. Now that Disney is done bashing us over the head with their The Force Awakens campaign, it’s time for a new studio to step up to the plate.

And with that in mind, I give you three new character posters, highlighting the holy trinity of superheroes.

Okay, so while there is nothing inherently wrong with these posters, there’s nothing spectacular about them either. They feel rather generic, although I am glad to see a little more saturation of color this time around. I think that the image of Superman is striking (that may be my Henry Cavill fan-girl showing!) and Wonder Woman is fine, but the Batman one falls kind of flat. I mean, this is the trinity, these should be amazing, and they’re just not.

I wasn’t a fan of the last trailer, although I’m still cautiously optimistic about the film overall. As a not so huge fan of Zack Snyder, that’s the best I can do. If I go in with lowered expectations then I’m less likely to be disappointed.

Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice is set for release on March 25, 2016.
