‘Star Wars Celebration 2016’ Official Poster Revealed

By May 25, 2016

On the newest edition of The Star Wars Show today, Lucasfilm’s new online web series that’s set to talk about and explore all the latest news from a galaxy far, far away every week, the official key art for this year’s Star Wars Celebration in London has been revealed, coincidentally on the 39th anniversary of Star Wars being released in theatres for the first time as well.

Featuring a central amalgamation of both the key characters in The Force Awakens and this year’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as well, the poster is frankly, gorgeous and is hopefully an indicator of the kinds of announcements fan can look forward to at the event in July.

Check out the poster itself below:

The already confirmed guests to be appearing at this year’s Celebration include Rogue One director Gareth Edwards, Kathleen Kennedy, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher, though I wouldn’t be surprised if a few more names get added to that lineup before July as well. Kennedy and Edwards will be hosting a special Rogue One panel also, which will likely come with some special announcements and reveals for the film, in addition to some special guests associated with the upcoming spin-off film as well.

It’s obviously not much to talk about, but the poster itself is fairly stunning and serves as yet another healthy reminder of what an exciting place the Star Wars universe is at right now.

Star Wars Celebration will be taking place in London this year from July 15th – July 17th.
