Nuclear Launch Detected: Starcraft 2 Professional Matches

By June 8, 2012

Starcraft may be the most popular electronic sport in the world. South Korea has entire television channels dedicated to Starcraft and Starcraft II matches. Professional Starcraft players enjoy the same level of respect and reverence that a professional football or basketball player would receive in other parts of the globe.

The videos below show two matches featuring a player known as Flash, a legend in the Starcraft: Brood War circuit. This prolific player has finally switched from playing Starcraft: Brood War professionally to SC2, leaving the world trembling. HDStarcraft, one of the foremost experts on the game and a fine gentleman all around, provides the video commentary.

And here we have an episode of When Cheese Fails, a video series from Life’s A Glitch TV featuring people using cheesy tactics in Starcraft 2 matches and failing miserably at it. (Note: When Cheese Fails does occasionally feature NSFW language.)
