‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Teaser Continues to Hint at Negan’s Victim

By July 22, 2016

If I’m being completely honest, I really have no idea what The Walking Dead is going to show during its Hall H panel later today from 1PM – 2PM PST. Since the show’s creative team chose to keep Negan’s victim a secret in the season six finale, whatever footage they show will have to avoid revealing any of the show’s possible victims because all it will be doing is crossing names off the basically, which at this point means they could only show Rick, Carl, characters who weren’t in the lineup, and new additions.

Ahead of its SDCC panel though, The Walking Dead Twitter Account has given fans an opportunity to see a small teaser trailer from the upcoming season, which doesn’t really reveal much either, but instead takes you back to the tense moment from the season finale.

We can’t actually embed the trailer itself, since you need to tweet the account to have it unlocked, but here’s the initial tweet below:

Considering that the cliffhanger was an annoying and frustrating one from the moment the finale ended, all that these teasers and promotional materials are doing is making the wait even more ridiculous.

I imagine that the panel will include announcements of new cast members and characters in the seventh season, as well as a look back at the sixth, but I am interested to see how they plan on dancing around the reveal in the trailer they show later today.

The Walking Dead season 7 will premiere in the Fall.
