Two Stuntwomen Impressively Parody ‘Family Guy’ Chicken Fight

Family Guy - Chicken Fight

If you’re a “Family Guy” fan, then you’re no doubt familiar with the recurring bit of Peter Griffin encountering the same chicken who gave him a bad coupon. They’ve fought four times altogether, and the chicken even played Boba Fett in the Star Wars special episodes of Seth MacFarlane’s animated series.

But now the fight is leaving the world of animation and crashing through the real world. Jessie Graff and Tree O’Toole, stuntwomen and actresses, raised nearly $3,000 on IndieGogo to do a live-action recreation of the original epic chicken fight from the episode In Da Boom.

Complete with plenty of punches and kicks, breaking glass, moving vehicles, explosions and more, this is quite an impressive little parody. Though the time between the choreographed fights themselves is filled with cheesy acting and amateur silliness, these girls really kick the crap out of each other in the ultimate chick fight (no pun intended). Watch the video right here (via Vulture):

Besides parodying the aforementioned “Family Guy” trope, the second fight sequence clearly takes inspiration from Zack Snyder’s graphic novel adaptation 300 with the slow-motion turning into quick, snap fight moves.

Jessie Graff has done stunts on films like John Carter, Knight & Day and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, along with TV shows like “Chuck” and “Dexter.” Meanlwhile, Tree O’Toole has worked on The Conjuring, Project X and TV series like “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” and “24.” These two joined forces to make quite the epic chick fight, and we hope they make a sequel sometime down the road.
